Ambassadors - Co-Chairs: Susan Grask and Jeff Jones
The goal of the Ambassador Committee is to promote new membership. As an active member you have an opportunity for a personal contact with new members and businesses. Our members are the backbone of the Chamber. This committee looks at ways to enhance member's benefits and investigate ways members can get the most from their membership.

Education - Co-Chairs: Amy Fisher and Smret Smith
The Education Committee plans for speakers at the monthly General Membership Meetings. It also coordinates sponsors for these meetings. In addition, it is responsible for organizing our annual Chamber Scholarship program. This committee also develops seminars that are of interest to our business community.
Golf Outing - Contact Chamber office
This committee plans the annual golf outing, which is the Chamber’s major fund raiser. Duties include soliciting sponsors, coordinating publicity, planning activities, and insuring that on the day of the event everyone who participates can fully enjoy the day.
Government Affairs - Co-chairs, John Augustine and Sarah Evans
The
Government Affairs Committee disseminates information on legislative
issues relevant to our membership and community for educational awareness
and when appropriate takes recommended action. Local and statewide issues
are discussed at the monthly meetings. On occasion, a guest speaker will
provide updates on current legislative issues. The Government Affairs
Committee helps the Chamber be the “voice of business” in the Woodridge
Area.
Internationale Centre - Contact Chamber office
The focus of this committee is to develop value-added benefits for large corporate members of the Chamber. Potential ideas include local job listings, local health and wellness opportunities, employee appreciation events, and value-added seminar/professional development opportunities.
Marketing & Branding - Chair, Peter Van Veen
The purpose of the Marketing and Branding Committee is to develop and implement strategies that effectively market Chamber events and services, while maintaining integrity in the Woodridge Chamber brand.
Seven Bridges - Contact Chamber office
The focus of this committee is to brainstorm and plan events that will bring residents to the Seven Bridges development with the goal of promoting the businesses. Potential events include road races, street festivals, parades, holiday walks and more.
Task Forces - Contact Chamber office
From time to time important issues arise that need input from our members. Please watch our newsletter for those opportunities.
Technology - Chair, Fran Strohm
This committee is responsible for maintaining the Chamber web site and all of its "virtual opportunities". It also solicits advertising for the web site.
Women in Business - Chair, Doreen Patrick
This committee plans a luncheon meeting every other month. Its focus is finding ways to help women in business grow and realize their potential.
